I used the outdoor grills in the courtyard to cook dinner while my family sat by the fire pit. I stayed in a suite with a separate bedroom from the rest of the room. We spent our afternoons in the heated indoor poolwith pool towels provided for every guest.

Bikes available for campus rides

I used the complimentary bikes to ride around the nearby pedestrian paths while staying across from the University of Notre Dame. I also visited the lobby bar for cocktails after attending an eventwith a Starbucks cafe.

I poured a cold beverage from the beer wall in the lobby while I relaxed by the outdoor fire pit. My suite included a kitchen equipped with plates, bowls, and cookware, which I used for my meals. The staff helped me with my arrival and provided space in the room to stretch out after my drive.

Omelets made to order at breakfast

I enjoyed made-to-order omelets at the complimentary breakfast each morning. I found the evening reception in the atrium, where Nicole and Isabel served fresh snacks and drinks, a perfect way to relax after walking across the street to the University of Notre Dame. I parked my car in the covered garage located right next door for the duration of my six-night stay.

Larissa Lane maintained the breakfast buffet at a high standard, working alone to organize the food each morning. I used the full refrigerator and the kitchen in my two-bedroom suite, which sat near the large lobby fireplace.

Swimmers in the indoor pool

I swam in the heated indoor pool before it closed at ten in the evening. My first-floor room featured high ceilings and an outlet on each side of the vanity, which helped while I charged my electronics. Complimentary water bottles were available for guests at the front desk.

I relaxed in the warm indoor pool after sitting by the outdoor fire pit. I grabbed snacks at the Martins grocery store located right next to the building before returning to my room. My room featured a mini-fridge where I kept cold drinks, while the morning breakfast included hot eggs and sausage.

Private porch on the Knute Rockne Room

I sat on my private porch after opening the window door in the Knute Rockne Room, which I reached by the main staircase. Breakfast included a Dutch Baby pancake served with Indiana amber pure maple syrup. My coffee cup stayed full while I talked with other guests in the dining room, where candlelight and music made the morning meal elegant.

Umbrellas kept at the main entrance

I found large golf umbrellas in my room and at the main entrance for walking across the Notre Dame campus. When I needed to steam my clothes, staff brought an electric kettle and a steamer up to my room. I enjoyed dinner at Rohr's after a long day of meetings, conveniently located right inside the building.
